> EMV 2000 Level 2-certified Kernel (2KL2K)
The Intellect EMV 2000 Level 2-certified Kernel (2KL2K) is a flexible application
written for Intellect’s secure operating system, PAX, which can be configured via
parameter files to create an appropriate generic debit/credit application for any
local market, aiding EMV migration and shortening the time needed to develop EMV
applications considerably. Due to the existing level 2 certification for the
2KL2K, applications built using it quickly obtain the full certification
once loaded onto a Level 1-certified terminal.
> CBM with Extensive Application Libraries
Intellect has a library of pre-developed generic applications written using the
PAX operating system and the CBM methodology with solutions for payment (VSDC, MChip4,
JCB, etc…), Loyalty, Electronic Meal Vouchers, Voice over IP, Mobile credit top-up
and electronic counter banking to name but a few. With rapid local tailoring of
these generic applications, we can quickly provide the solution that matches your
needs precisely.
> PAX Operating System and SDK
Intellect’s proprietary Payment Application eXecutive (PAX) is a multi-tasking,
real time operating system powering our full range of transaction devices. PAX not
only allows multiple applications to run efficiently in a single device, it also
ensures that each application and its respective electronic journal of completed
transactions are protected from all other applications. PAX is the core of our success
and makes applications portable across our entire portfolio.
Complemented by its C-based SDK, PAX is easy to learn and offers one of the most
reliable platforms in the payment industry. The SDK is a single integrated developmebt
environment for payment application solutions incorporating PAX OS, SAPI and CBM
> TMS Management System
Intellect TMS enables the effective management of infrastructure for payment, loyalty
and value-added services and has an ability to evolve with your business. The system
lets you pro-actively manage your terminal park giving you the information that
you need, when you need it.
TMS enables the management of binary and parameter downloads; application distribution;
and terminal monitoring. It offers tools to display, analyse, schedule, and transport
applications and was developed with standard industry tools (Java and C). The system
has two major components: a central server architecture, known as the TMS Host and
an application resident on the POS terminals, known as the Terminal Agent.
> Key Management System
Complementary to Intellect’s TMS system, or available as a separate system, Intellect’s
KMS offers the entire suite of software, hardware and security procedures needed
for the generation, management and deployment of keys within an EFTPOS infrastructure.
Built around tried-and-tested systems and industry best practice procedures, KMS
takes the worry out of key management.
The system facilitates generation of keys; importing of keys from banking systems;
secure storage of keys; creation of a package (signature and keys) for initial loading;
creation of a package (signature and keys) for remote loading; and signing of software
for use with Intellect’s secure download system.
